Hi Simon

Thank you for your interest in our product.

>>Can this be done?

Easy :-)

>>if so can you show me the script and where would I load this in the INS?

Sure.

Please extract the attached ZIP file under C:\voicefile. (For convenience I put everything in this directory, but this can be easily changed later).
There are four files

0554201386.wav voice file, needs to be in WAV format (not mp3)
notfound.wav voice file, needs to be in WAV format (not mp3)

For the moment those files are simply the recorded values 1 and 2. You would then need to record the final files.

simon.vsc the IVR script
VBS1.TXT VBS script used by the IVR script for the file detection.

To see the script running (and its configuration) please have a look at http://www.mawnet.com/download/ivr_sample_simon.htm.
Here we used for simplicity the H323-Line. For the the real application, you will replace this line by a voice board or voice modem.

The movie shows first the script and the location of the files. Then it goes to Tools->Preferences->Communication to select the new script.
After this we start MsgServer. Then we use the simulator to test the script.
First we simulate a callerid of "11111111" and "call" the script. You should hear now the file C:\voicefile\notfound.wav.
Then we simulate a callerid of "0554201386" and "call" the script. You should hear now the file C:\voicefile\0554201386.wav.
At the end we check the session.log to make sure that the right files were played.

DONE :-)

What device will you use for the voice line ? A voice modem or a voice board? Just be aware of the limitation of the voice boards when recording your own voice files, as they only support 8kHz, 16Bit WAV format.

If you have already a voice device, just select it under Tools->Preferences->Communication and check the system with a real call.

Please let me know if I can give you more information!

Sincerely,

Marc Wanderer
