Hi Dave

The WAV file needs to be recorded as PCM 8000 Hz, 16 bit Mono wave files. (PCM 8000 Hz, 16 bit Mono). This format is supported by most of the sound recorders available for the Windows operating system. For the Windows SndRec32 just go to File->Properties to change the format.

Otherwise just send us the file you have recorded and we have a closer look at it.
