Re: Re: Re: Re: Result variable switch not evaluating RV's

The user enters their box number just like a visitor would. To leave a message, enter the extension number.. My ext is 212. So now $RV[Greeting] is 212.

I open the password file by opening \pwd$RV[Greeting].txt so the true password is now $RV[Password].

The mailbox owner knows to dial his password during the Speak now message. So they have entered $RV[Speaknow]. I cannot check this against the true password using a Result switch because the block won't allow it.

If I could, I would be able to allow the owner voicemail access. They could change their pin, outgoing message in fact have a complete voicemail package in a few blocks of code. But I am faced with 64 sets of hard coded password script... without being able to compare $RV[Speaknow] with $RV[Greeting] I'm stuck.

I could call an external program, but I prefer to keep within one application on an unattended 24/7 project.

You make the Result Variable Swich compare RV's and I'll send you a copy of the finished code for your demos?? Otherwise I must save up for an Envox licence!
