Script Help

Looking to build a script that will play back to a phone a message left in other script.
Other than being completely new to this, here's my challenge ... I need the script to detect if the call is answered by a voicemail and then play the message when the call recipient's voicemail is recording
Is there a way to have the script recognize the beep of a voicemail system and then play the message?
Probably more response to this than what should be posted in the forum. Let me know how the best way to proceed is.
