>MsgServer service hung on Windows Server 2003

Hi Richard

Without knowing your system it is quite difficult to make here a correct statement.

But here some thoughts that e.v. may lead you in the right direction:

1) Win2003
In Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 an extra startup option has been added "Automatic (Delayed Start)" to the properties of all services. With this the start of the MsgService service can be delayed until after the Dialog service has started. With 2003 this option does not exist, hence can lead to the described lockup.
Ideally I would recommend to use Win2008 here. Alternatively you may try to ad some sort of delay function in your bach file before the "net start MsgService".

2) Driver I
Which Dialogic service release did you use/install?

3) Driver II
In v8.0 INS does not need the TAPI driver for the Dialogic DIVA card anymore (not sure about the Dialogic D4PCIUFW though...). Do you have in the list of available devices an entry starting with "@DIVA..."? If yes try to use those instead of the "Analog Line 3(dxxxB1C3)".

4) Watchdog
As to the cause of the watchdog error:
There is a channel monitoring that kicks in when a channel is blocked for some time.
This happened with Channel #03, as it got disconnected 11:45:17.312 but apparently did not turn idle.
The reason why this happened can however not been seen from the log.
Does the server have enough resources?
