>>MsgServer service hung on Windows Server 2003

Hi TL,
Thanks for responding so quickly
1) Win 2003
Win Server 2003 does not support Delayed Start. I did not implement automatic launch of the batch file. It failed when I ran it manually after the Dialogic services were safely launched.
2) Driver I
Win Server 2003 uses TAPI similarly to Win XP. I installed Dialogic SR5.1 with the service pack. SR6.0 does not support TAPI.
3) Driver II
I am not using a Diva card. I am using the D4PCIUFW.
4) Watchdog
The server is carrying a very light load. The time of failure was Sunday at 11:54am, when nothing else was happening. The specific cause of failure was a user hang-up during a text to voice playback of an eight digit number. The cell did not exit gracefully.

I have noticed a functional difference between INS version 7.6 and 8.0.
Version 7.6 did not detect hangup properly, so I engineered a path to a hangup cell by successive timeouts. Version 8.0 does detect a hangup and closes the session immediately.

Richard
