Hi,
VERY interested in your software as it seems to have great potential! :-)
Voice and fax seem to be working okay, but I'm having no luck with sms:
Tried both Windows ME and XP, with a Nokia 7110 and a USB data cable (MA-8610C) as a direct link for sending/receiving.
I used the software that came with the lead to install it as a fax/data modem (COM 5).
I've grabbed what I can from the logs/errors and copied it below.
Can you suggest what the cause of my sleepless night was?! ;-)
I'm aware of the need for patches for Win2000 for IR and mapping virtual com ports...
... Is this a similar problem?
I'm looking for the easiest answer! Do I ditch the USB lead and go for a serial cable or is there a download somewhere that will cure all?!
Has a 7110 ever beeen known to work with serial or USB leads and Win ME/XP?
I'd really appreciate your assistance to get this working as it could be a great solution.
