Where will MsgServer be located? Also on the same PC?
Unfortunately neither one can run as service in NT.
The best way of avoiding users to accidentally interfere with it is to have
a separate communication PC. There you run MsgServer and Check-it on a
separate machine. To access the Citect data on the operator PC you may use
the NetDDE format
\\ComputerName\Citect|Variable

This has shown to be the most robust way.
