Have a look at the
C:\MsgServer\SampleScripts\VoiceScripts\Excel\VeryEnhanced\VeryEnhanced.vsc script.
There the cell CallExcel calls an Excel macro "TestNumber". The macro needs to be defined in a module in Excel.
For more information about DDE you may also refer to the online help of the MsOffice applications (Excel, WinWord, etc) or if you have access to Visual Basic.
