Yes, Ghostscript created TIF Packbits compression is OK with your Fax conversion program. (I'm not sure why all the bmp and pcx formats do not work, but I do now have one format to use.)

However, the next problem is scaling. As seen in the viewer, there are a couple of problems:
- the aspect ratio is wrong, it's twice as tall as it should be
- this can be fixed interactively by setting to half height, but how can I do that in batch mode when a fax is sent by the message server.
- but it still is the wrong size, it does not fit on the page, but is cropped down the right side.

Can I get the fax the correct size in batch mode?
It is a single A4 page size before it is faxed.

(Note - I was originally using the viewer to check format compatibility, but the converter does seem to support more formats)
