Can you recommend a modem that works?

I've tried a new USR message modem, but cannot get it to work correctly. CLI is not reported and although your simulator works through my speakers, no message is played down the line. The beeps work. I've spent a long time trying different drivers and been on the support line to USR.

I've also tried a new Zoom external V.92 , but this does the same. Worse still, it stays off hook even after your script log says it has disconnected.

Is there a make and model of modem that will definately work with Message Server? I'm running XP. One that is currently on sale?

I see you told another person who asked this on the forum 'USR Voice External' but this isn't really specific enough to actually buy a third one with confidence.
