Event Already Defined

We would like to use Message Server with our RealFlex SCADA systems.
I want to use CheckIt with Items which are up to 32 characters long, but CheckIt appears to create Event Name from DDE Topic + Item (only uses 11 characters from Item) Because of this I get Error "Event is already defined" even though my Item is different form the previous Item
e.g
First Event
DDE Topic = FlexDDE|Value
Item = ALIM-8:ANALOG:COSFI
Second Event (Rejected)
DDE Topic = FlexDDE|Value
Item = ALIM-8:ANALOG:VSMED

I can see in CheckIt.DB file that the first Event is
[FlexDDE|Value!ALIM-8:ANA0]

This does not allow us to work with multiple Items we require
i.e PCU:Type:Tagname
Where PCU is up to 12 characters
Type is up to 6 characters
Tagname is up to 12 characters

Can the unique Event name in CheckIt.DB be made longer to handle DDE Topic (14) + Items (32) = 46 characters long ?
