I tried your suggestion of changing the format of the e-mail msg from html to text and that did the trick. That said, do you believe that "string right chars" would effectively only take the text from that point on?

Earlier when I was the e-mail as an html msg and when I double clicked on the sms msg in the out box, it displayed a rather long msg with all kinds of formating etc.

I will try the "string right chars" and get back to you.

Also ever since I have started trying this, I find that msg server automatically just quits!! when I restart it, it will send what is the outbox and then just quit!! Can you think of what might be causing this?
