Sound files jump to the script

there is a consistent problem that happens every now and then where the sound file will be playing and after a few words the program will skip to the next choice. For example the sound file for module 1 is playing (assume that the selection of the 3 button will send the caller to module 2) and after a few words the caller is automatically sent to module 2 even though there has been no button pressed. But this does not happen all the time.

The OS I am using is Windows XP Pro and the modem is a dynalink internal modem model 1456VQH-T4. This is the one and only problem that is appearing anywhere and the rest of the software is working well in all other aspects.
