INS Registration Catch-22

I have purchased a registration license through Share-It. The Help file says to open Message Center and in the About dialog enter the registration #. But when I try to open Message Center I get the message: "Trial period over, please register the application now." The application won't open. The only option from the splash screen is to Exit. How can I enter the registration number if INS won't let me open the application where the registration is entered?
