ActiveX snipped = VBS = VBScript module

You can test those in Excel (as apparently you did), or by pasting the code in a notepad file and give it the extension "vbs" (IE test.vbs).
Then double click on it and it will be executed. The same happens if you have it inside the VBScript cell inside INS.

If Excel does not close, please follow the instruction I gave you last time:

Just make sure to close the Excel file in the "VBScript" cell by using the "ex.Quit" command.
