sms-it keeps asking for the serial, even though its typed in

Sms-It! keeps asking for the product to be registered each time I opn it, even though I have typed in my serial number. This only happened after installing thew 2.2 version. It opened the first time, then wouldn't open again, it tries, it opened then closed, tried reinstalling, no luck. I wentt back to the old version 2.0 & now it keeps asking for the registation each time. When I click on register the serial number is in the box already, I click ok then it works fine, until I close & open it again. Then I have to enter the registartion number again (it's still already in the box)
