I have tried a new computer as I think that the previous one could not use the com2 port properly. I still have difficulties. As per your request these are the messages at the terminal screen of sMS-IT!

timeout error(AT+CSCS="8859-1",,,3000)
there is no compatible mobile phone connected to COM port.

I have tried both com ports with the same result. This time I used a WIN 98 OS.
