So do you still have a running version of 3.0.8 installed ?
The interesting part is that the message actually displays "program termination" hence will stop the execution of SMS-it, but you mentioned that after the message you are able to continue normally. Is this correct ?

How do you submit the messages ?
Through a command line ?
What is the command line ?
Does it start up normally without command line ?
