SMS-it! is already running - Multiple command line invocatio

Hi, I am getting occasional OK message boxes with "SMS-it! is already running".
I fully appreciate why I get these but the POP3 mail checking software I use to 'fire' SMS-it does not allow me to queue its event requests. Hence sometimes two or more emails arrive at the same time and it tries to fire SMS-it! again before the previous one ends.
Now I 'could' write a bit of middleware to single thread these SMS-it! requests via some sort of lock mechanism, but what I'd really like is to be able to supress these OK message boxes in favor of a logfile entry... The SMS request would just get lost as at present.
I am trying to run SMS-it! on a server without human intervention, therefore OK boxes are unwanted.
Any ideas?
Thanks, Dean Chapman
