Nokia 6610 and IrDA

I have been tring to attach Nokia 6610 to an IrDA port.
The connection works fine with Nokia Data suite.
The pc used resource for IrDa is IRQ=3,Port=2F8.
So I choosed Direct Com2 as the setting for Direct Link.
But I can not send msg out.
Please help.
