Could not connect with nokia e50

Dear SMS-it Support,

i have downloaded the SMS-it version 3.6 ,evaluation version. I have conected my phone, Nokia E50, direkt link and with USB data cable for nokia e50 (cable type CA-53). I have try to set-up with diferent data bits (2400, 9600, 19200)but i can't send messages. The error messages was: Can not initialize COM port. I've tried on different computers but the same result. PC operating system is Windows XP proffesional SP2.
