Thank you again for your question in the SMS-it forum.
As promised I checked the possibilities of making our software compliant with Chinese characters.
Unfortunately it is not possible :-(

The reason for it is, that for the conversion of the mobile phone characters to the PC character, we use a single byte conversion. To be able to display Chinese characters on the PC, we would need double (or quadruple) bytes. This for the display, storage, etc.
We implemented conversion for Greek, Russian, etc, but all those Alphabets can be limited to 256 characters using the ISO8859 standard.
As you know, Chinese needs more characters.
Now in principle this is possible, but as we do not have the know-how, neither the required test equipment (PC and mobile phone) we can simply not afford to do it.
Please accept my apologize for this.
