Hi we currently use, MSAccess with the cmd line SMS-it! to send out jobs to our mobile grooming units. We enter details of the clients (if they are exsisting they are already there), then click on the smsit icon from the form & it is sent out to a mobile our groomers have on the road. My question is: can we link/use who calling to autmaticlly bring up the client file if they are already stored in our msaccess database, we don't need a picture to display, just bring up their file, if they call. We a one modem in our computer which acts as fax, so my thinking was, if it'll work, install another modem, which can just receive the the line which is our incoming phone voice line & the other modem can stay as is & reveice our fax line.
My thinking is this would work, providing your program whocalls can pull up their file if their number is in the msaccess database.
