Well... registering the software would help ;-)
Our latest release (1.5.3 www.mawnet.com/whocalls.zip) has a fix in that it warns you if WhoCalls is open and allows you to close it. Then however you need to shut down Windows again.
We are still working on a fix that closes WhoCalls and allows Windows to shut down...
