Who Is Calling

Your product appeared to work initially and then after a couple of test calls, the line being used to call the modem lost it's dial tone and became useless. Apparently your system sent a signal back disabling the line. Something similar to the call zapping technology used to block telemarketers. This was not only unexpected but tremendously inconvenient.
You appear to be a legitimate enterprise. If you are, please advise me of what to do to correct the situation and why this happened. Thank you.
