Hello,

I finally managed to get the Startech modem, which behaves fine.

Just one more question please, I use an external database, its an SQL db actually,
but for the moment, I have used your Access sample, linked my table clients into your db
and created a new form. So far it goes ok.

My only probblem is the phone number, for example, I get as CID 693-667-055 and in my db the phnoe is stored as 6936677055 (ie without "-").
So, the expression if @CID=mobile will not return a row. (mobile is my field).
Is there any function that could be used here (as TRIM for example) or any way to remove the "-" from the CID?
