Okay, we now have an external modem that works & callerid displays etc. So all works well in active mode. We will need to pay you program the command lines for msaccess as we have tried linking it to our database & it doesnt seem to work it tries to open it but can't find the fields etc. But I'm sure it'll work fine, once to somone who knows more than me sorts out the right coding. I think I'd need to send you our access database so you know what form fields etc to use as commands. We mainly want it to open up & find an exisiting client if their number is in the database, which brings me to the next query, in our database we have numbers like 62912345 in active mode it displays it as 6291-2345 will it still find the client okay? What happens if the number doesnt exisit we don't really need it to open up anything as most of our calls are queries, not all book & call again, we don't want msaccess full of blank entries with just a date/time stamp. Please let me know roughly how much I'd be looking at & I'll send you the database if we can afford it.
Cheers, Storm
