We are a software development company in INDIA. One of our client in USA wanted a IVR solution.
We are new to IVR. We need following information regarding

1. Need detail information about how IVR works.
2. Hardware / software requirement in detail.
3. Integration with our dot net web application. How do we integrate?.
4. How does it is possible to take actions like update caller status in our database or do some processing against caller pressed keys.( Please Need steps )
5. How to decide hardware / software requirement.
