INS and numeric pagers

Can I configure INS to send a numeric message to our pager system.
With the old MAW message centre this was done using the pager setup, but this seems to be missing in INS and I have been unable to configure SMS to do what I require.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
We are currntly evbaluating INS as the old message centre has been proving a bit unreliable for our current needs.
