OK, it seems that you where able to import messages and also to import the address book, hence the communication with the 7110 is OK.
The reason why you get the "... was skipped because allocated communication port is disabled" errors is probably due top the fact that you have not defined the 7110 to be the port to send SMS through.
Please do the following:

In MsgCenter
1) Go to the contacts and open the details for MANJIT
2) Next to the SMS Number choose "(use default from preferences)"
3) Go to Tools->Preferences->SMS and select "Send SMS through Direct Link"
4) Create a new message, select MANJIT as recipient and Send as "SMS". Under SMS central should now be displayed "direct link".
5) Send the message.
