Lines Missing Under Communications Tab

INS was working a couple weeks ago. I opened it today to demonstrate if for our customer. When it didn't work, I began to investigate. What I found was that under the Tools>Preferences menu, the Preferences dialog box, Communications tab shows only Line 1 (previously I had at least 5 lines available for selection). I can configure Line 1 and activate it, but nothing I do causes an activate checkbox for line 2 or 3 or 4 to show up in the dialog box for configuration. I have de-installed INS and deleted everything in the INS folder on the C:\ drive, then reinstalled it...same results. I also ran the registry clean up file and re-registered INS...no change. What do I need to do to get INS back to working as it was?
