1) The "RUN VBS CODE" cell can only return integer values. If you want it to return text strings, then you need to save it first to a file and the read it back from INS. Please have a look at C:\INS\SampleScripts\Text Scripts\VBSTest
for a sample on how to do this.

2) Just put them as
There is an alarm on $RV[Place], that was on $RV[@Date] at $RV[@Time]. The problem is: $RV[Problem]
INS will check if it finds a string recorded as "There is an alarm on" in the directory C:\INS\assorted\ and referenced in C:\INS\assorted\assorted.cfg.
