Thank you very much for your message.
There are two samples that may help you implementing authentication:

The script
C:\INS\SampleScripts\VoiceScripts\VoiceMail\VoiceMail.vsc
shows how to check a static PW (hardcoded inside the script). The cell "Check PW" checks if the user has entered correctly the String "6163" before processing with the script.

The script
C:\INS\SampleScripts\VoiceScripts\ActiveX with MsAccess\billing.vsc
shows a dynamic sample where the caller enters a UserID and this is then checked with an entry in a MsAccess table billing.mdb->T_Users

So depending on how you want to check for authentication one of the both samples will show you how to do it.
