>>>>>>INS hangs up as soon as it has finished dialling

I found a driver that appears to have been released by 3Com in 2003. When I run through Tools/Quick setup in Message Center, after device detection the information pane contains the lines, "Sportster 33600 FAX VOICE EXT; => Can be used as VOICE: Incoming Voice/Fax calls; => Can be used as VOICE: Outgoing Voice calls." Now, the modem stays connected after dialling and the distant phone rings. However, the person receiving the call hears nothing, until after a while the modem hangs up the line. An extract from the session log follows. Thanks again.
