Very pleased with the MSCS and will be buying it soon. Just a couple of small points.

It gives error messages saying it cannot initialise the mobile's port - Serial cable on Com2. However, it sends and receives SMS messages with no problems?

It truncates some ringtones. Just what is the maximum number of characters that can be sent to a Nokia mobile as a ringtone? Is it 160, the same as the maximum for an SMS text message? Is this limit set by you, Nokia or the transmission system?

Do you know of a programme that will convert RTTL into tones suitable for other mobiles? Should this data be sent as SMS text to other phones? Or, how do I send ringtones to other makes of mobiles?
