Wavecom GSM Modem

Hi,
I am using v5.4.2 message suite with a wavecom GSM modem I have setup the software to be direct
and in contacts set to be SMS and under communications set direct to com1. Everything seems fine, no error message, all messages go to the sent box, but no sms are recieved on mobile phone. Yes the modem is working and have tested with hyper terminal and sent SMS manually and everthing worked fine. Any help would be gratefully appreciated
