If you send us the c:\ins\session.log file we may find out more about the problems. The entries in the registry should not cause any troubles.

Then one of the communication devices you use is causing INS to fail. The c:\ins\session.log will give you more details about this problem.

Definitely yes

This is a limitation due to the fact that voice modems can not detect the answering of a call. Hence we implemented this delay.
Voice cards do not have this limitation.
