These devices are "black boxes" that have easy to use connections for Power, Antenna, and a 9 Pin Serial Cable port suitable for direct connection to a PC "COM" port. These type of devices are well suited to environments where INS would be used..."

But you don't recommend any products. Could you please recommend one or two products of this type of GSM/SMS modem. And, are these types of modems specific to the phone service provider as are the PCMCIA cards, or are they universal by virture of their SIM card slots? Thanks
