INS can be configured to do anything you like :-)
It has DB access capabilities (Through ActiveX), the ability to read-back text, capture input from the user through the keypad. Hence everything needed for a telephone number database.
Do you have a specification of what you want to do ?

INS has TTS (Text to speech) capability build in.
Speech recognition is not supported.
