Hi,

I followed your instruction and so I am testing an other script to read a excel file, return an ID with Wscript.Quit(ID)

I did what you told me to do.

I pasted the script into a notepad and changed the extention. When I am compiling the script, the only information that I am getting is a VBScript runtime error. The error is that an object is required. Char: 1

This is the line where the error exists:

If ActiveSheet.Range("A" & I) = 14511 Then

I see nothing wrong in the above line char 1. What can be wrong in this line ?
