Is there another USA Carrier on record whose settings are already known?

I am using a laptop based modem (Toshiba Software Modem) calling over a landline. Is this okay?

Would a serial port modem function better?

In the following line:
Record not found for ID: 0000000074534832

I see that the sent or received info is truncating the leading 91 that should appear before 74534832. Could this be the problem?
