Problems with 6210

Hi

I'm evaluating SMS-IT and the specs seem to be ideal for what I'm trying to do.

However, I can't get it to run.

I'm running SMS-IT 2.6 with a Nokia 6210 mobile phone connected via COM2 with a DLR3 Nokia data cable.

In SMS-IT whenever I try to do anything relating to the mobile, it comes up with an error message "Please make sure now that your mobile phone is connected to COM2".

Under Terminal it shows:
[2003/01/12 13:03:42.203] Command {AT+CGMI=?,OK,,,4000}
[2003/01/12 13:03:42.484] I=?
[2003/01/12 13:03:46.890] Timeout error {AT+CGMI=?,OK,,,4000}
[2003/01/12 13:03:46.890] There is no compatible mobile phone connected to the COM port

But I can go into HyperTerminal and connect directly with the phone on COM2 and can even run the AT+CGMI=? command per above and it works.

Any ideas? It I can solve this and can get it to work, then I'll definitely buy it.
