Raj,

As you are unable to connect with Hyperterminal I guess the problem is with your serial connection or the COM port you have used.
The 8250 is an extension to the 8210 and we tested the 8210 quite extensively, so also the 8250 should work.
Please have a closer look at your connection and contact your mobile phone provider.
