Thanks for you help TL. Seems like this modem is a bit of a con then if this is the case. Better fork out some money for a *real* one ;)

Do you have a list of modems that you would advise are good for TAPI? Obviously - the more reasonable price range seeing as I already have paid for 2 kinda useless ones.
