Here are some more emails I received from the Swann Support. It seems like I am sitting between a rock and a hard place.

Our modems work fine and have been thoroughly tested with the original
supplied third party communications voice software programs. If you are
having troubles with your particular communications software, we suggest you
contact the software manufacturer. If it is any help the modem has a
standard D56RSN Rockwell chipset.

Bitware and Supervoice which were issued with some of the earlier driver
CD's, but the modem has also been tested with Winfax and FreeCallcentre just
to name a couple we can remember off the top of our heads.
