What did you select in MsgCenter.exe under Tools->Preferences->Communication->Mobile Phone->SMS Port ? Did you select the "Ericsson R380 Cable modem" driver entry or a "Direct to COMx" entry?
Did you test (use the TEST button on the right) all three Baud rates ? (2400, 9600, 19200) ?
What COM port does your mobile phone use? (COM1 or COM2 or...)
