Re: Re: Re: Re: Multiple voice messages

I eventually got to the bottom of this particular problem by installing a sound card in the server. When the network monitoring software brings up the popup window, it is also trying to emit an audible alert. I suspect that, in the absence of a sound card, it was trying to use the sound capabilities of the voice modem. In doing so, it interfered with Message Server's attempt to send a voice message.

I want to use MSCS to send voice messages to members of a contact list until the first acknowledgement. Is it possible to introduce a delay (of e.g. 5 minutes) between each successive attempt to contact a member of the list? Or better still, is it possible to have MSCS make 3 or 4 attempts to contact the first member of the contact list before attempting to contact the second member of the list? I would like MSCS to have 3 or 4 goes at contacting the network administrator to report a network problem in case, for example, the phone is engaged on the first attempt. If the call was not positively acknowledeged, MSCS 4.2 would then go on to contact an IT manager or other person.

Regards

Kevin
